Eight questions, answered plainly
Grouped by what the question is about: choosing and paying for a service, getting in touch, and how a first visit actually runs.
Service
About the work itself
How should a visitor choose a service?
Start with the service descriptions and prices on the services page. A diagnostic visit is the right start whenever the cause is not already known; the other five are for a job that has already been identified.
What should a first-time visitor prepare?
The property type, where the main shut-off is, what the water is doing and when it started doing it, and safe access to the fixture concerned. No repair should be attempted before the visit.
Is a diagnostic visit suitable for every customer?
Not when water is escaping and cannot be shut off. In that case the supply should be closed at the main and the firm telephoned rather than emailed.
Contact
Getting in touch and what happens next
Can a visitor request a specific staff member?
Yes. Name the preferred plumber on the contact form. Availability is confirmed separately, and the request is never treated as a booking.
If the question is not here, the contact form reaches the firm directly and an answer does not require a visit. Send a question instead.
Does the website complete a booking?
No. The form sends an enquiry. A time is agreed by reply, and nothing on this site takes a payment or reserves a slot.
How are changes or cancellations handled?
A reply to the confirmation email, or a telephone call during opening hours, changes or cancels a visit. There is no charge for a change made before the plumber leaves the workshop.
Practical
Prices, changes and privacy
Are the displayed prices final?
Published prices apply to the stated scope. Any price shown as a starting figure, and any repair uncovered during a visit, is quoted in writing before that work begins.
Where can privacy information be found?
On the privacy page, which states what each form collects, who else sees it, how long it is kept and how to have it removed.
