Messages are read during opening hours and answered in the order they arrive. A message is not a booking: a chair is held only once the studio has replied and a day has been agreed, and custom work is drawn only after a consultation has settled the size, the placement and the price.

Sending a message does not book a sitting. An artist replies by email or telephone during opening hours and a day is agreed then. A first sitting needs photographic identification at the counter: nobody under the age of eighteen is tattooed here.

The Book action opens this contact page, because the studio arranges every sitting by message rather than through an online diary. A message is still the better route when the right service is not yet obvious: describing the piece gets one named, priced and counted in sittings in the reply.
