The four people who do the work

Four people work at 118 Larkspur Row. The six services are divided between them, so every service has someone whose day it mostly is, and a visitor always knows who that would be.

Every photograph on this page shows a room, a fitting or the materials the work uses. They are not portraits: no image on this website presents a real person as an employee of Cedarlight Day Spa.
  • A treatment table made up with fresh linen in a quiet, low-lit room.

    Marisol Vance

    Founder and spa director

Opened Cedarlight in 2019 after eleven years running treatment floors elsewhere, and still takes massage appointments three days a week. Sets the six services and the scope each one covers, and is the person who says when an afternoon should be shorter than the one asked for.

  • An open sauna door onto tiered timber benches, with a wooden bucket on the floor.

    Priya Raghunathan

    Lead massage practitioner

Takes the signature massage and the scalp and shoulder ritual, and agrees pressure and pace before the first stroke rather than part way through. Asks about scent at the start, so the oil is chosen once and not changed on the table.

  • A reed diffuser on a pale surface.

    Owen Ledbetter

    Esthetician, facials and body polish

Runs the cedar steam facial and the mineral salt body polish, and names each product used at the basin. Where skin feels tight or reactive he says what he is leaving out, and will decline a treatment rather than stretch it past its scope.

    Guest experience coordinator

Reads every contact form, matches the question to one of the six services and gathers what is needed for a useful reply. Confirms times by telephone or email, and is clear that the form begins a conversation and holds nothing.

Service focus

The six services are divided between the four practitioners. A visitor may ask for a particular person through the contact form; availability is confirmed separately.

A question about a service, a price or a preference

The contact form takes a question and sends it to the spa. Book goes to the arrangements page; neither one confirms a time by itself.

Occasional notes from the spa

An email address only, used to send occasional notes about the spa. No offers chased by a countdown and no third party.
