Sixty minutes on the table, with pressure and pace agreed before the first stroke and checked once part way through. The practitioner works the back, shoulders, arms and legs at a steady rhythm. The oil is unscented unless a blend is chosen at the start.
Suits a visit whose whole point is an hour in a quiet room.

Cedar steam facial

Seventy-five minutes: a warm cedar-scented steam, a cleanse, a gentle exfoliation, then a mask chosen at the basin for how the skin feels that day, finished with a slow face and neck massage. The published figure is a starting point; the mask and serum chosen set the final price, confirmed before anything is applied.
Suits skin that feels dull or tight, and a visitor who would rather be told what is being used.

Scalp and shoulder ritual

Forty-five minutes, seated and then reclined: warm oil worked through the scalp, then the neck, shoulders and upper back, finished with a hot towel. The hair is left oiled unless a rinse is asked for, and that is settled before the oil is warmed.
Suits a short visit over a lunch hour, or a first time on a spa table.

Mineral salt body polish

Fifty minutes in the wet room: a mineral salt scrub applied by hand, rinsed under a warm shower, then a light unscented lotion. The grade of salt is chosen with the visitor beforehand, and any area is left out on request without discussion.
Suits a visit before an occasion, or skin that feels rough at the end of a winter.

First-visit consultation

Twenty-five minutes seated in the quiet room, with no treatment and no products: what the visitor is looking for is talked through, the six services are explained, and the spa says which one fits and which parts of an afternoon it would not cover. The fee is credited against any service booked within thirty days.
Suits a first visit, or an afternoon nobody has planned yet.

Sauna and quiet-room afternoon
from $64
Two hours with a booked sauna slot, a rinse, a robe and a daybed in the quiet room, with tea and water brought through. The published figure is a starting point; a weekend afternoon and an added steam slot set the final price, confirmed when the afternoon is arranged.
Suits an unhurried afternoon with nothing booked after it.

Arranged directly, with the price confirmed first. Nothing on this website confirms an appointment.
When a service may not be the right one
Skin that is sunburned or broken, a recent cosmetic procedure, or a result that would need more time than the booked service can each make a published service the wrong choice. Cedarlight Day Spa says so before the appointment rather than during it, and the first-visit consultation exists precisely so that conversation happens first.
