Sessions and rates
Six services, each with the scope it covers, the rate it is quoted at and a note on who it suits. A rate that begins with “from” is a starting figure and is confirmed in an estimate before recording begins.

Studio session
$85/hour
The control room and the live room are set up to the agreed input list before the hours start, and the room, the microphones and the monitoring are available for the booked period. The rate covers the room; an engineer at the desk is a separate service.

Engineer-assisted session
$125/hour
An engineer sets up the room, runs the desk, keeps the take sheet and hands over labelled session files at the end. Setup time before the first take is included in the booked hours and is agreed in advance rather than discovered on the day.

Vocal production
from $240
The booth is set up for one voice, takes are tracked and comped during the session, and the agreed lead and any stacks are handed over as separate files. The starting rate assumes one voice and one song; anything beyond that is quoted first.

Mix consultation
$60
An existing mix is played back on the control-room monitoring and gone through section by section, and the observations are written down and handed over. It is a listening session and a note, not a revision of the mix itself.

Podcast session
$95/hour
The live room is set up for spoken word with individual microphones and headphone monitoring, recorded to separate tracks and handed over unprocessed unless an edit is agreed in advance. The rate covers the room and the setup.

Live-room rental
$110/hour
The live room is available for the booked period with its own power, lighting and floor space. No recording is made, the control room is not included, and the room is handed back in the state it was taken in.

The message
The intended result, the number of people in the room and the rough hours are described on the contact form or over the telephone.

The estimate
A service is named against that description and the rate for it is stated in writing, with anything uncertain flagged rather than averaged.

The date
Only once the scope and the rate are agreed is a date held. The website sends the request; it does not confirm the booking by itself.
Choosing between two
Where two services look equally suitable, the contact form is the quickest way to describe the result and have one of them named. Nothing is committed by asking.

A short description of the intended result, the people in the room and the rough hours is enough to have a service named and a rate written down.
