What clients have said

Six clients describe how the enquiry, the preparation and the session itself went. Each account names the session and when it took place, and describes the experience rather than a financial result.

  • I booked the first money session because I had been avoiding my statements for most of a year. The reply told me what to bring and said rough figures were fine, which made it easier to actually turn up. The coach went through everything without judgement, and I left with a one-page summary and three next steps instead of a pitch for something else.

  • I had four card balances and no idea which to pay first. Over two sessions we put every balance, rate and minimum payment on one page and compared a couple of payoff orders. The coach was clear that the timeline depended on me sticking to it, and the plan was simple enough that I still use the same sheet every month.

  • The quarterly check-in was exactly as described: forty-five minutes, a look at what had changed since the spring, and updated targets for the next three months. My hours had been cut, so we reworked two categories on the spot. There was no attempt to sell me a longer programme and no renewal I had to remember to cancel.

  • The spending plan build was spread over six weeks, and the middle session was the useful one. We compared the plan against what I had really spent and changed the categories that had not held up. The worksheets came through after each session, and the price was the price quoted in the first reply.

  • My partner and I booked the couples session after the same argument about shared bills kept coming back. The coach let each of us explain how we saw it and kept things practical rather than taking a side. We left with a written split of shared costs and a date each month to review it together.

  • As a freelance photographer my income swings a lot, and every budget template I had tried assumed a fixed salary. The irregular income plan started from my leanest recent month and set a rule for what happens to a good one. The coach was upfront that the tax amount itself was a question for my accountant.
