Why we started
Founded at a kitchen table.
Nineteen years ago our founder, Nora, nearly lost her own first home over paperwork nobody bothered to explain. She promised herself that if she ever helped others buy, she would slow the whole thing down and treat every family like her own.
That promise became Hearth & Key: a brokerage where first-time buyers are welcomed, not rushed; where selling the home you raised kids in is handled with tenderness; and where the person who answers the phone actually knows your name.
We are small on purpose. It lets us walk every showing, answer every question, and celebrate every closing day like it is our own.
