What the two forms on this website collect, what it is used for, how long it is kept and how to have it removed.

What the contact form collects
The contact form collects a name, an email address, an optional telephone number, the service selected and the message itself. Nothing else is requested and nothing else is required.
It is a general enquiry form. It is not a veterinary record and not a secure channel; medical history and payment details should not be sent through it.
What the subscribe form collects
The subscribe form collects an email address and nothing else. No name, no telephone number and no postal address is asked for.
An address given to the subscribe form is used to send occasional notes about the shop and for nothing else.
Why the information is collected
Contact details are used to answer the question that was asked and to arrange a visit if one is arranged. Subscribe addresses are used to send the notes they were given for.
Neither form's data is used to build a profile, and neither is used to advertise on another website.
Who else receives the information
This website is served as static files by its hosting provider, which necessarily sees the request. The two forms post to the business's own configured endpoints, and the email that carries an enquiry to the shop passes through an email provider.
No analytics service, advertising network, social widget or third-party font is loaded by any page on this website. The only requests a page makes are to its own origin.
How long it is kept
An enquiry is kept while it is being answered and for as long as the resulting visit is being arranged. A subscribe address is kept until the person who gave it asks for it to be removed.
Security, and its limits
The connection to this website is encrypted in transit. That is a real protection and it is a limited one: it says nothing about what happens to a message after it arrives, and no website can honestly promise more than it controls.
Choices a visitor has
A subscribe address can be removed on request, with no reason required and no confirmation step designed to slow it down.
Neither form requires a telephone number. Leaving it blank does not change the answer that comes back.
Asking for removal
A request to delete an enquiry or a subscribe address can be made by telephone or through the contact form. It is acted on and confirmed in reply.

Questions about this notice go to the same address and telephone number as everything else, both printed on the contact page.
